Hello LPPC Picklers,
We’ve hung on as long as we could, but given some recent circumstances, LPRD has asked that we not go forward with our tournament. So we have officially cancelled our Frontier Days tournament as of yesterday.
In lieu of this, we are inviting all of those players who had signed up to come out and play during their allotted time. We’ll still do a casual round robin style play day for them but we are keeping it all low key without any of the bells and whistles. This will help those who have already booked lodging and/or planned a little vacation to at least still come out and enjoy themselves.
During those 2 weekends, unless you are playing during the time you signed up for in the tournament, we will not be open for regular drop in play. Sign Up Genius will reflect that, meaning you won’t be able to sign up during this time. If we find that some of the brackets are small enough or have emptied out, we’ll open up some play times even during the weekends so keep your eyes open for that.
It’s sad that we are in these times, but hopefully next year will be a blowout year with lots of fun stuff. Maybe we’ll run a couple more tournaments than we had planned to make up for it! :)
